The family have outgrown the existing rear extension and conservatory in this Edwardian house and wish to have a large kitchen and family room that directly addresses the garden and connects to the main house in a logical and flowing way. The rooms in the main part of the house will remain as existing but a new garden entrance will be made through the existing wc into the existing sitting area. The central section of the ground floor plan to the rear will be opened up, rationalised and extended to create a single large kitchen / dining / family room, with the existing boot room converted into a pantry. A new boot room and laundry will be created in the existing family room next to the new garden entrance.
