Stonegate farmhouse

This Grade II listed East Sussex farmhouse has two twentieth century side extensions that were poorly constructed and cannot be used usefully as they are currently two small, separate rooms. The main design move is to rebuild the side extensions as a single large kitchen and family room that addresses the north, east and south elevations. It will be a single contemporary style space that contrasts well with the existing traditional Sussex farmhouse rooms. Further replanning is taking place within the existing house where the kitchen has been relocated into the new extension.
