Stonegate house is a Grade II listed house with parts of the main house dating back to the mid 16th Century. The house has been extended numourous times with poorly designed additions which detracted from the form of the original house.
The proposed design removes these additions and creates a new single side extension in its place to house a single large kitchen and family room. The new extension will be contemporary in style contrast well with the existing traditional Sussex farmhouse rooms. Further replanning is taking place within the existing house where the kitchen has been relocated into the new extension.
